The London 2012 Olympic Committee used digital 48 sheet billboards plus JCDecaux’s M4 ‘Torch’ site to deliver a range of congratulatory messages to individual British medal winners as well as a countdown to the handover from Beijing to the UK
This morning’s Metro newspaper featured a story about a member of the public who proposed to his girlfriend using London’s Piccadilly Light LED screen, meanwhile Nivea & Posterscope France displayed around 400 consumer generated ‘declarations’ on a giant screen in Paris which included 2 marriage proposals. Two of the three proposals were accepted !
To celebrate team GB’s triumphant return from the Beijing games BT ran a 1 day campaign on the Piccadilly Lite strip.
