Largest animated screen in the world planned for Birmingham

Techtonic Global Ltd are in the process of installing the worlds largest animated L.E.D display in Birmingham. Due for completion in August 2009 the site will measure a massive 8000 square metres and is visible from a section of the M6 motorway where the average speed is claimed to be a mere 25mph.

Student screen packages

Bar screen media owner Avanti ScreenMedia and Student Union screen operator SubTV are now working together to sell student venues on each others behalf.  Avanti have selected 185 venues from it’s portfolio covering chains such as Revolution, Walkabout, Bar Risa & Its a Scream.  These will be packaged with screens  SubTV’s 94 Universities.

Other OOH screen networks that offer specific student packages include:

Brightspace (bars)

Atm:ad (cash machines)

Oxigen (University screensavers)

Youth Media (University PC desktop portals)

Top Gear on taxi screens

Content featuring Jeremy Clarkson and the Top Gear team forms the newest channel added to Cabvision’s 1000 digital screens inside London’s black taxis.  Ad spots can be bought across all channels or sponsorship idents can be placed on the Top Gear channel alone.

New screens in London NCP car parks

Ad park have installed entrance & exit advertising screens at two test NCP car parks in central London (Welbeck & Brewer St.).  A similar network already exists in Spain and if deemed successful by NCP the concept will be extended to other car parks in their portfolio.
