Below are links through to some of our favourite campaigns of 2009. There was no set criteria when putting this list together but the campaigns include personalised content, interactivity through both touch and sound and some great use of tailor made creative.

Digital countdown to Valentine’s Day

Eye have just launched a 2 week campaign across their digital portfolio in airports featuring a daily copy change counting down to Valentine’s Day. The campaign is aimed at reminding flyers about Valentine’s day and the gift shopping opportunities available.





RNID visualise noise to demonstrate the effect of hearing loss

RNID, the Royal National Institute For Deaf People, ran a campaign to raise awareness that 1 in 7 people around the UK suffer from hearing loss.

By linking a microphone and some bespoke software developed by M&C Saatchi to digital screens, the content reacts to sounds similar to a graphic equaliser.

The campaign ran on Limited Space’s ADHD screens and two digital LCD screens installed into Clear Channel bus shelters in London.





Waitrose suggest a home game line up for Arsenal

In a recent TV interview Arsene Wenger asked the question ‘can you buy players at Waitrose?’

Waitrose answered this question by producing a specific creative targeting Arsenal fans at Angel station on the day of the next home game. The creative followed the same structure as the rest of the Waitrose campaign however it also displayed Arsene Wengers comments.





COI target drink drivers at Chistmas

The COI ran a campaign on the run up to Christmas in bars targeting potential drink drivers. The campaign was booked through RAM Media (formally ASG)





Palm Pre rugby LED perimeter boards

A campaign for the new Palm Pre phone is running on LED perimeter boards at Twickenham for four Rugby matches including the Investec Cup games: England vs Argentina and England vs New Zealand





Huge sales uplift for Alesha Dixon at Westfield

To promote Alesha Dixon’s new album, Warner Music used the portrait LCD screens at Westfield London which led  the HMV store inside the mall to experience 75% uplift in sales versus the UK average

Anti-smoking ads on concert screens

A part of a drive to encourage the public to quit smoking, The Department of Health have been advertising at the 15 date X-Factor UK tour using Blink TV’s large concert L.E.D screens.

Westfield Mall Renault Showcase

Renault extended their pan-European campaign for the launch of new Laguna Coupe into the U.K. The London Westfield site in Shepherd’s Bush was perfect to reflect the Laguna’s contemporary style. They used the shopping centre’s digital spectacular and LCD formats to align the car with fashion conscious consumers. The digital activity was working in conjunction with an experiential site located within the mall.
